justice-smiles-red-large.pngThat’s right! The time has again come to slip in under the wire to another exciting Land Surveyors’ Association of Washington (LSAW) seminar. So what’s happening. Well …

LSAW’s Lower Columbia Chapter – right across the river from the Willamette Meridian – in Vancouver, WA is hosting this event to bring surveyors (further) up to speed on [as the title indicates]: “Researching Washington Survey Records.”

Details from the LSAW Website indicate the following:

Date/Time:  This upcoming Friday, 201.11.07 at 8:00 PST (not PDT – that was last week.)

Location:  Old Spaghetti Factory, Conference Room 730, SE 160th Ave, Vancouver, 9864

Description:  Seminar Overview:

1. Researching RW Information at WSDOT

2. BLM Land Records

LUNCH – Catered by Old Spagehetti Factory (included with registration) YEAH!!!

3. BPA Records & Resources Yous Should Know About

4. Researching Survey Records at the PLSO

I got on the registration page at – apparently exactly 11:24 – because the Eventbrite site indicated I had – EXACTLY 8:00 minutes with which to register. Did it! So, yes again … I’m in.

As an aside, the site also indicates:

LSAW has a block of rooms available at The Heathman Lodge in Vancouver.

7801 NE Greenwood Drive

Vancouver, WW 98682

(360) 254-3100 to reserve a room.

I called the Heathman and spoke with William. He indicated at first that the block had been sold out. But then when asked if he would open up another room ‘outside the block’ at the same rate, he checked and found out … Yes, he could.

Are you interested in attending too?

Though you may not be able to have your name tag done quite as prettily as the rest of us – who shining our fingernails (if not an apple) – have timely registered, I think you might yet have a crack at this program.

If so, contact Laura Daugherty via email at: info@lsaw.org OR via phone 1-877-460-5880.

I’m looking forward both to the subject matter and seeing everyone there. Cheers!justice-smiles-red.png
